• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonster ST-S Project

I've been pretty much running around like a madman trying to get my ST ready for Spyderfest. Sadly it won't be finished by any means but at least it will be a little different that the other yellow ST-S out there. As you know I can't leave things stock for very long so the first day I took it apart and got it ready for paint. I just got the call to pick up the paint today. It's nothing fancy just painted some of the yellow parts black and I have Pete with Powersports Wraps working on some graphics. To dress it up a big and tone down some of the yellow.

The plan right now is to get the ST back together next week and head to Pete's in Erie PA on Friday. Work a little Friday and finish up of Sat., then head toward Spyderfest in Springfield MO. So I took a 680 mile trip and tuned it into a 1400 mile trip. I love it when that happens. :doorag:

I'll be updating this post with progress pics.

Can't wait to see what you've come up with! (We'll be coming through the Western end of PA on Monday morning if you'd like some company fro the trip...) New Stanton, PA: 10:00am to 11:00am roundup... :2thumbs:

Lamont, I like how you're toning the yellow down some. That was my first thoughts on the Yellow STS. I like the yellow but a little too much for my taste.

Sadly..!!

Can't make the fest so will depend on photos...don't forgets us left behind..!! :roflblack:

:thumbup: The yellow and black combo will look great. I'll be following this with great interest, I plan on buying an ST-S as soon as next year.

Picked up my parts from the new painter and as expected there were some issues. Four out of the seven parts are being fixed over the weekend. I gave myself some time just for this reason. I hope the rest comes out as good as these fenders. By the way there are 15 bolts and screws holding each fender.
:yikes:nojoke

First painted parts installed.

PA!!!!

well at Least you will be sporting the right Colors going through PA!!! Looks Like a Pittsburgh Steelers Bike!!!! GO STEELERS!!!!!!!

Wow, that is really interesting. I haven't seen the ST in person yet and had no idea how big that riser on the fender really was. Having the black background really sets it off and shows how high it sits as well.

Incredible paint job, looks like mirror gloss black.  Really sets off the yellow. Can't wait to see it finished with the graphics.
