• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonster lights!

I purchased the Lamonster headlights and fog lights last fall. I put them in 3 weeks ago. I went night riding tonight. I took a nice long ride which included a ride through the Kent State campus. What a difference the new lights made. A provinces white light versus the stock yellow light. I am very happy with them. Price was very reasonable. Install was a PIA! But well worth the end result.
On a side note. I rode the Spyder to the Harley dealer this afternoon to pick up a backrest I had ordered for my new Street Glide. A Harley 883 pulled in at the same time I did! He turned his nose up at the Spyder. As I was talking to the parts guy the 883 owner walked up behind me and said isn't that disrespectful to ride a Spyder to the Harley dealer! The parts guy looked up and said he is picking up a part for his 2017 Street Glide. The gent turned on his heel and strode away! The parts guy and I had quite a chuckle! It takes all kinds.

+1

:agree:
I also have updated our 2014 RT Limited with the Lamonster LED head lights and fog lights in August of 2016. Two things made my decision: 1) OEM fog light burned out, needed to replace and 2) (most important) is the visibility they provide when riding in the day. Those bright white lights can be seen in the day so much better than the OEM head lights. I noticed this during the Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally (July 2016) riding with our group through the Black Hills - the Spyders with the "white" head lights were "more visible" and easier to be seen in the day. Agree they are great at night as well.

Yeah, me too. In fact, I replaced a set of HID's with Lamonster LED.
I like them a lot.
Also, I think Lamont had adjusted the beam direction before he shipped them. I didn't have to adjust mine during installation.
I'm not sure if the light is brighter, as measured by scientific metering techniques (Lumens), but the whiter color sure makes them seem brighter.
I like them so much, I replaced the headlights on my car with LEDs also.
