• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'll be posting pics here so you can see the progress of the project. Right now it's at the painters for a week just so he can look at it and get some ideas on what we're going to do. I will say it's nothing like it was going to be and maybe that's a good thing. :doorag:

Any hints for us?? :D
Are you going to go beyond a nice paint job with this project? :dontknow:
We heard folks talking about needing hitches and rear luggage racks...

I have to ask, how long was your ride ? You did not appear to dressed for a long one with that "stuff" on the ground.

A red/black RT looks even better in person. Looked good in a showroom and I think it will look geat in sunlight.
Good luck with the F-3 project

Well..!!

looks pretty stock so far...:roflblack: whats taking so long..?? Looking forward to your vision coming to life...

Lookin Good

You've got a while before Daytona Bike Week yet. I am sure you'll get it all together in plenty of time. It'll look awesome too!!

I know it's going to change, but I sure do like that color! That's what I ordered, so it's nice to see it

Lamont,, have you played with the hitch issue at all ?? It looks as if the stock RT hitch could be made to work by modifying the top locating pads.. I doubt the outer measurement on the stock F3 Axle is different than the rt and it looks to be hollow as well / meaning it might accommodate the hitch bolt that goes though the axle...

EXCITED TO SEE THE TRANSFORMATION

Lamont, thanks for keeping us posted on the progression of the F3 project
I got a chance to see the new F3's last weekend at the Seattle International motorcycle show.
And i am very impressed with the entire evolution of this new model as far as I know there is no other manufacturer that offers the adjustability ( u-fit system ) of the new F-3. I love the new lower seat height as we all know the advantage that the lower center of gravity will have during cornering. I like the direction that they are going with less tupperware and showing off that amazing Rotax triple and the exposed tubular frame.
I was very upset to find out that BRP didn't offer the test rides like they did at other major cities I think they completely missed the boat by not offering the motorcyclist's of Seattle this opportunity there are a lot of people with money to spend on such toys I know the brand is well known in this area there are a lot of people around here that own Sea-Doo's and Ski-Doo's as well as boats with BRP's Evinrude boat motors as well as a lot of Spyder Ryders and growing.
BRP could have easily set up a closed course for the people that don't have a three wheel license that is required in Washington state.
And the people that have a three wheel/sidecar license which many of the older long time riders already have could have went for a little cruise.
I did get on a list with lifestyles to test drive an F3 in late January or February weather permitting.
I would love to have an F3 but already owning two Spyders and not willing to take a bath on a trade in I might have to wait a few years and rack up some miles on the fantastic machines that I presently have. :ohyea:

I don't think using the stock hitch is the way to go. I have a few idea that I'm pretty sure will work. :doorag:
