There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Kuryakyn: Throttleboss vs. Mechanical Throttle Cruise?

Looking for something to relieve the throttle hand workload (as I thinking I am going to be taking more trips on my RS than I originally thought).

I have Kuryakyn ISO grips and I am thinking of either going with their Mechanical Throttle Cruise (link) with weight for the left grip OR their ISO Throttle Boss (link). The "cruise" will cost about $100 and the Throttle Boss will be about $24.00 with shipping. (Sadly you can't use both according to the Kuryakyn rep I spoke with.

I realize they are NOT the same thing, looking for feedback on which way you would go? Obviously if you have had experience with both, definitely want to hear from you.

Thanks in advance
Brian

I have the throttle boss and a Vista cruise throttle lock and do use both but use throttle boss a lot more for brief relief.
I would get the larger boss if I was to do it over.

I had the smaller throttle boss, and changed to the large one...Made all the difference in the world!..I was going to get their throttle lock, but it wouldn't work with the boss..I wasn't going to give up my throttle boss,so I purchased a cruise-mate and installed it.. Now,I have the best of both worlds..i would recommend cruise-mate or the throttle lock in the above post...

Or you might consider this:

Will that cruise mate work with ISO grips? Anyone actually have one installed and can give us some feedback?

I have ISO grips and I installed the cruise-mate..Works great...I would recommend it..I used it this weekend on a long stretch of highway to rest my hand..It doesn't have anything to do with the grips..It mounts on the cable housing between the cables where they go into the housing..Thats all it does, when applied,is to squeeze the outer cable housing and does not allow the inner cable to move and de-accelerate..At anytime, you can twist your grip and overide the cruise-mate..It really is quite simple and fully adjustable on the run,if you like..Very cheap mod!
