• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

KUDOS to Misty Mountain Sheepskin

I had earlier mentioned that I LOVED the sheepskin cover I got for my RTS at Spyderfest except...(I got the white with black tip) the black continually runs onto "Studly"...assuming from moisture from me. I went to their website and sent an email stating the issue. Two weeks and no response so today decided to call: Gene, owner, answered and said oh my that email on the website will not work for customers. Told him my problem and he immediately said I AM REPLACING THAT NOW...said he will mail out tomorrow and I should have next week. Now folks that is CUSTOMER SERVICE...:firstplace::thumbup:. I will return the "bleeding" seat cover along with Pics of the black stains on Studly's 'flanks" (it cleans off with Pledge and elbow grease...to appear again the next ryde!!) as he said that is NOT acceptable.

So love the sheepskin...no more hot bottom/legs when climbing on/ryding (fortunately this heat is from Ma Nature..not my Spyder) and no more sweating through all my layers. Now can add love their customer service. Recommend them highly:

They have a website:
Phone # works: 417-445-3357
Working email is: [email protected]

That's good service! I am really liking mine, and, happily, I've had no problems with the color running. :agree: they're good folks with good products.

Tipped sheepskins are usually airbrushed to get the "effect." That can bode well or not.

Glad you got your problem solved. Customer service is a paramount issue for me.

Do you have a picture showing the sheepskin on the :spyder2:

I note your Avatar shows it, but it is being sat upon. :roflblack:

Great news..!!

You needed this one after all the trailer hassels...there are good onescout there but hard to find...ryde comfy..!!

I was trying to get a hold of Misty Mountain today and the phones are not in service, including the one that Murphybrown posted. The email on their website came back undeliverable so I am trying the one in MBs post. I hope they are still around, I've got a friend who wants to order one.

Ann, they are still around, just talk to them last week at Spyderpalooza where I got another new one from them. We had a white w/ black tips, it never faded but the white does turn a little yellow over time (2+ years) so we now have a charcoal gray which is the color of our cat..............it we get lonesome for her on a trip all we have to do is pet the sheepskin for a "fur fix". :roflblack:

They might be out of town in Arkansas for the Bikes, Blues and BBQ event in Fayetteville?:dontknow:

Thanks for the update. I've got the same thing with the yellowing and I also have absentmindedly pet mine while missing my dogs. :roflblack:

They replied to the email from Murphybrown's post and my friend has ordered her sheepskin. Now I will be jealous because hers will look nicer than mine.
