There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If you buy directly from them; you'll get the exact instructions that you need. But they're even available on the website, so download them first, and read up on the process...

I installed it for a Garmin Zumo 660LM, but they are all the same.
Go to Kradellock.com and learn all about it. Installation is very easy. Remove 4 hex head screws, from the BRP mount, with a 7mm socket. Slip the Kradellock between the 2 parts of the BRP mount. Install 4 new, provided, ss Phillips head screws. YOU ARE DONE!
A word of caution: Because there are several different mounts, the length of the 4 ss screws required varies. Just because you provide the model of your Spyder may not be enough for Bob to know which screws to send. I had to phone him for 2 shorter screws. He promptly sent them. I would suggest that you pull the screws first and measure the length of the threaded portions (4 screws, 2 different lengths) and phone or e-mail him that information with the order. He can add the thickness of the Kradellock and know which screws to send. Robert Becker (916) 955-9588. He is very easy to do business with. It is simple to install, and you will like it.

FWIW, the Kradellock is .6275" thick which is a nominal 16 mm. The original bolts for the BRP Zumo 590 cradle and Tri-Axis handlebar mount were 35 mm on my Spyder, the same size as the Phillips head machine screws that came with the Kradellock. I opted to use the 7 mm hex head bolts instead of the Phillips head screws.
