• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shouldn't have failed that quick. Shoot me a picture in the email and we'll get you a replacement in the mail. Sorry that happened. We have had hardly any of this last batch fail.

Funny thing is i ride with a lot of Harley guys ,and they never complain of belt vibration.

If vibration bothered them, they would not ride a HD..... Ever pull up next to one at a stop light? Just watching everything on the bike giggling makes me dizzy.....and then they have to blip the throttle to irritate the world. That's HD tradition passed down from generation to generation.....:joke:

I can send you a pic via text message a lot easier. What number can I use? I shot a short video of when I found it and can also send a pic. The pivot arm seemed a little dry. I shot some grease on that grease fitting and it loosened up some but it still seems stiff. I do not know whats normal though. I sent you my contact info and Phone#.

I'll contact you.

:agree: on the measurement on the ground and around 160lbs on the Krikit...

:agree: should measure at the same temp for a more accurate reading.

Best done on the pre-check prior to a long ryde..you know...gas, tires, coolant, oil, belt tension and liquid refreshment in the cup holder....:roflblack:

Good info to share. You should also take a belt reading in three places on the belt and average them, especially on a new belt.

I've always done my readings on the ground... around 160 seems good.
