does anybody else think the kfc commericals are creepy & really just plain bad? kinda wrong tryin to replace the origanal colonel with a new guy every week or so. i dont know, but it kinda creeps me out.

They should leave well enough alone and the food does differ from place to place. Strange all comes from the same place but maybe they don't change the oil etc:dontknow:

I think its all about the economics of advertising. By not having a person we become accustomed to over a period of time--they can keep using the people that come up in casting calls each time. Most will work "cheap" in order to become the latest Colonel.

Think of "Flo" who is reported to make over $500K per year and the Dos XX's guy.

RE: the food: It has always been hit and miss up here. I don't think they follow the exact protocol and you can end up hitting them on a bad day.

I was convinced by the commercials to try the new Nashville Hot Chicken--YUK, YUK, YUK. Here, it did not have enough sauce and tasted like they used generic Sriracha out of the bottle to spice it up.

Our other chicken purveyor is Popeyes. They used to be much better than KFC but the service and cleanliness of the place has become deplorable. A 45 minute wait for drive through is another indicator. :yikes:

These days, when I get the craving, I fire up the Fry Daddy. :yes:

I have to agree with you on that one. There will never be another Colonel. KFC is still my stop of choice when riding or just traveling. Always Good. Especially like their Pot Pies now days.

Bob, When you say the same, do you mean (same bad?) :roflblack:! Last time i bought KFC when i reap open the chicken it had more fat than meat! Never wanted anything to do with KFC again! It has been over 20 years!

1 or 2 years ago , bought the family 12 piece bucket , with the sides ! mmmmmmm

well mine did not have the drumstick that looked over 1 hundred years old ! :hun: wonder why the photographer did not catch that ? but any who --- I did get a bucket and I think they included 1 5 pound bag of salt ! never have I tasted that much salt in one bite...took it back and they made it right new bigger bucket and coupons for another dinner ! they did well on the recovery !
