• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Kewmetal Air intake installed

I pretty much have the same setup- kewlmetal air intake, two brothers exhaust, and juice box. I’m curious what settings are you using on the juice box. I changed mine after the install to .5,6,6,7,.5,1 - seems to be ok.

You lived! What did that big guy end up doing anyway?

Lamont shut his M109R off and started pushing it backwards. It was like a light switch for the Buffalo. He decided that Lamont was giving up and backing off, not challanging him anymore (which it's clear that's what he thought).

So he just turned and walked away.

Everyone had their video cameras running thinking for sure this guy was going to plow Lamont. Lamont was the only one who didn't get it...at least right away he didn't.

I think the Buffalo looked a lot smaller and further away through the viewing lens of his camera. But when he took a look over the top of it he realized things were not going well.

By then I'd say the Buffalo was about 6 feet from Lamont, head down, eyes rolled back, tongue hanging out, making strange sounds and breathing really hard.

And the Buffalo was doing some weird things too! :roflblack:

I took it for a spin and all seems fine. It gets pretty loud around 4000 rpm but then quites right down. I wear ear plugs all the time so it shouldn't be too bad. I'll have about 2400 miles on this trip to see if I like it or not. I'll report back next week. :doorag:
As I said I will do a report when I get back, well I'm back.:2thumbs:

The Kewlmetal intake worked great. There were no issues and I ran it in the heat and in pouring rain. I got 32-36mpg and there were no flat spots or surging. I did have my earbuds in most of the time and I wouldn't ride too far without them. The intake is loud, it's like having a pipe in front of you but when you hold any rpm it's not bad.

I don't think it could run any better so here's what's working for me.

  • Kewlmetal intake with cold air ducts
  • Hindle Pipe
  • Old style Juice Box
  • Stock o2 sensor and fuel pressure

  1. Green- not used
  2. Yellow- 4
  3. Red- 6
  4. Green/Blue- 6.5
  5. Yellow/Blue- .5
  6. Red/Blue- .5

Yup, this is the way I am going to go as well, with the exception of the Jiucebox. I may go with the pro on that but you seem to be having great success with your setup and that was my line of thinking anyway. Good stuff Lamont. Thanks for sharing! Be safe out there Buddy! We can't have you gettin hurt out in the wild!
