• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Kewlmetal peg mounts

retread

Just finished installing these. In the instructions, a pair of long reach pliers is suggested to put one bolt in, I tried a telescoping 1/4 inch magnetic parts pick up tool instead, worked slick, you can see what you're doing and the bolt went in, no problem.

Got Mine Coming-----

---------did you have to jack the Spyder up to install the mounts? Can you give me a slight run-down on what you had to do? What kind of pegs did you use? How do you like the way these pegs help your position on the Spyder?? Was the foot brake in the way at all? Thanks----SSSS

Didn't have to jack it up, did have to take the tupperware off from the seat down, that's covered in the instructions. I've got the Kuryaken Spider pegs, haven't got them mounted yet, taking care of some other installs first. it looks like the mounts will put the pegs right at the back, and just outside, the flair in front of the rider's pegs, brake pedal not a problem. A helper would be good on some of the bolts, hard to reach from one side to the other to hold/loosen/tighten things.
