Kentucky Speedway Ride-On Event!

The RT's hit 100 MPH..The Rotax didn't want much more...One fellow, and his better-half, On a Honda CBR, hit 145 MPH.. Anyone who wishes to attend a ride on event, check the speedway website.. www.kentuckyspeedway.com Look for the event schedule and for "Ride-On" Dates..

What fun! You are lucky that they let you open it up when I rode on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway they wouldn't let us go fast. :gaah:

:lecturef_smilie: If something isn't in front of me, its really easy to get caught up in so many other things, as we did this past weekend I'm really sorry Teddy & I missed out on this event, but are glad that those that DID get to attend had a good time :clap:We definitely want to attend the next time you get another Spyder group together for this

Speedway Ride-On

Well, to say the names of the other four, I don't know all the Forum handles, From Right to left in the Photo, I know...Backwards...Fred Garrett , Myself, Phillip Burden, Gene Rigney and Jim Pontrich with his wife on board..

The official rule sheet stated that the speed would be 60 mph with a little clause after that.."To Be Set By Pace Vehicle" We all got 6 laps.. on lap two heading into first turn, the red ford pace vehicle took off...I was immediately behind him..So I hammered it down the back stretch until the next curve.. had to slow down to 70'ish. We rode single file for the most part until my man "Rooter" and his wife suddenly appeared behind me.. He went 145 MPH. I was easy pickins...Long story short, when you go, be friendly to the safety crew, strike up a friendly conversation with your pace driver and 60MPH goes out the window.. Beside they want to see how fast the Spyder can go..There we alot of muscle cars there but I guarantee, the rich boys with their cars were envious..They didn't let them go that fast. I did see a Rousch Mustang Stage 3.. I was envious...I know..A Sin... OH YEA!!! GO PRO VIDEO of the Ride - On will be on youtube.. I will let everyone know when it's ready.. There will be a video on youtube of us taken from Fred's Go Pro camera's..He lost the rear camera at some point and later found it..It had a story to tell. I will let everyone know when the video is ready..
