Has anyone located a K & N air filter for the 1330 engine?

Don't. Will not noticeably improve anything and will let large quantities of dirt into your engine. It already has a pretty efficient synthetic media panel installed. Someday perhaps there will be aftermarket open element air filter assemblies for the 1330 like there are for the 998.

it would seem. Checking with K&N they have the 1330 ace listed but no filter available. Best filters made, used them in all my vehicles hope they have them out for you all soon...:thumbup:

Why would anyone put an oiled cotton gauze air filter on anything you expect to use for a considerable length of time in 2014? This is 100 year old outdated technology that just flat destroys engines long term. Not all that long for the many Ford Diesels that got 'dusted' because of them and owners with left high and dry with no warranty coverage. Read up on these before you throw money away and damage your bike in the process.

I can tell you for sure, if I was looking at ANY used vehicle and it had a K&N filter installed, keep walking as its NOT the one I want. Owner does not know proper maintenance.
