• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just Wondering - BRP

Many brands

New member
I just wonder - if BRP ever looks at this Forum ? And if they have ever responded ? Such a great site, so many - answers, idea's, and help. Many common issues as well. Like the Gas cap thing on the RT's etc. I would hope BRP is montering our issues, although I really dont see responces. or "fix'es" except from you-all, via this Forum.
Thanks for this Forum, and all you guys. :2thumbs:

You will see Steve from BRPCare respond at times to issues that are raised. What the criteria are for BRP to respond I haven't the slightest clue.

You know they do....

But how envolved they get is the question. Being interactive here not really but know they read and consider the information they get from this site. :dontknow: one can hope cause it is the best place for help...but we do hammer brp quite hard at times...

:agree: They do kick around in here quite a bit...

...in spite of the inevitable beatings, that they seem to take! :yikes:

:welcome: You will see Steve from BRPcare come on from time to time. He does answer some of the questions. I know that they watch this particular forum closely--25,000 members put a lot of input towards BRP. Most of the time they seem to be listening. What they do the information is sometimes surprising though.

I have only been a member for a few weeks and the amount of info here is fantastic. I have had many bikes and been on many forums, this is by far the best. I have never seen a manufacture participate in a forum prior to this. Look forward to learning more and participating in the future.

Hi Many brands,
The short answer is yes - my team and I monitor social media, including Spyderlovers during the course of the day, for trends, news and potential issues folks might have. We do our best to catch and address everything we can - there are sometimes posts and topics that we don't or can't participate in of course. We're here to be a part of the conversation, the community, and help out when needed. This is such a great resource for everyone who rides or is interested in Spyders, ourselves included.
I try to drop in after-hours once in a while too, when the boss isn't looking:

Re - BRP

My question has been answered - and with much satisfaction.. Thanks Forum
Thanks Steven. Good feeling to know our Spyder "prayers" are listened to :)

As Samson stated, I too have been involved in a few bike forums over the years and this is the only site that the manufacturer has ever participated. Thanks Steve and BRP.

Gary

Thank You !

Ditto on what Gary says. Also, I think you have good taste in your selection of colors for your Spyder....... :spyder2:
