• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just wanted to introduce myself to the group, I'm Hawk from Kenosha, WI. Bought a used 2018 Can Am Spyder RT Limited last July. Trying to get used to not leaning in the corners and not having a hand brake!!! So far so good. Big complaint is the radio it's terrible, it makes loud pops through the speakers, very annoying! Wish there was an easy way to replace it! Anyway hope to be able to meet some of you and take a ride together.

Take care, be safe!

have fun with it, ive upgraded a few things to make my 2020 F3 better,,, radio does suck, my speakers are ok,, i have a MP3 player with several files of recorded radio,, each is about 1 hr long, and it sounds great,, auto volume goes way higher, than non-auto volume, i cant even get the most powerfull radio station here, its only 20 miles away.. dealer is going to look at it when i take it back,,

Hang in there, it will come with a few miles. It took me about 1000 miles to train my brain to think spyder. The first year I was reaching for a hand brake at first a lot, then not as much. By season 2 of riding... that was programmed into my brain too. I'm 63 and have been riding since jr. high on dirt bikes, then street bikes. Patience and practice ... relax. Be safe and have fun on 3!

The hardest part, of driving a spyder, is to relearn all things that come with riding a motorcycle....
But If you get the hang of it, the spyder is so much fun, and far more capable as you think now.....
It took me short of 1000 km's, but now at 12000, i don't wanna go back to two wheels

:coffee: Welcome to the Spyder Forum. Nice choice for your Spyder. RADIOS are not the best for BRP. I enjoy my music with my Sena's installed in my helmets.

Check out MotorcycleDave a vendor on this Forum. Post number 5.

Good Luck on Your Mission. .....

Yup....it's only worth messing with if you're stuck on listening to broadcast radio. I think most of us have figured out alternative forms of entertainment while riding. I don't miss broadcast radio at all. Welcome to the community.

:welcome: Get out there and put some miles on that thing and then come back and tell us what you think!!! Relax, and enjoy the ride!!!!! Be safe!!!!:congrats:
