Is it just me or has that got to be the most overworked, oversaid, mundane phrase ?
It just makes we want to ask Why ?????????

I happen to use the phrase frequently. I am an EMT, a firefighter, I have two college degrees, and I play two musical instruments. Apparently the use of one phrase makes me ignorant? One thing I have learned along the way is that if you judge people you will most often be incorrect in your assessment.

• "Honestly" = "The very next thing I say will be a lie"
• "Believe me" = as above
