• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

just out of curiousity would you go to a event

My short answer is NO.

If and when the "Stay At Home" orders are lifted we would take local rides and stay close to home for awhile.

We would not attend any events until this pandemic is complete.

As a matter of fact, I believe that all of Canada is under a mandatory "Stay at home" order. Some provinces (like ours here in Nova Scotia) are really clamped down so this does not get out of control here. We have had our spring events and shows around here canceled long before they they were mandated closed. We realize the benefits of everyone keeping to them selves at this point.

We won't be going to any type of gathering, until this CV stuff is cleared up!! Never thought I'd see this country with a problem like this. Everyone be safe, and stay well.

Early events already canceled, and awaiting news on the fall ones. If need be will not go on any this year. Better to be safe!

When the governor of California lifts the ban, and he won’t be fast about doing that, I’m fairly sure sure we’ll be touring a few days after that.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst. We are working on plans to sail Lake Michigan with a group for two weeks in July. We have a very large family reunion set for late July/early August in Connecticut. We are planning on going to both at this point, however, like everyone else we will keep abreast of the facts not the media and make changes as necessary. We as a people must plan for the future, we must be optimistic and come out of this stronger than we were.

I'm staying home. Even though I am relatively healthy (I haven't even had the Flu for more than 30 years) I am at risk because of my age. I don't want to be responsible for someone else's illness or even death by unknowingly spreading the virus. I live alone with my computer and TV. No other person has been in my house for several months. I know that I will not be part of the problem as long as I stay in my little cocoon..... Jim

As much as I am wanting to, I am not dying to.....

I suspect 2020 is a write-off for any rally/ event/ social gathering of any size. A year from now there will hopefully be a vaccine and life can begin anew.

I have already canceled one rally I was in charge of and had another ride in I was set on cancelled. I am booked for D3WR but will be canceling that and had thought of Sturgis, but will now pass on that. The only one I am thinking of right now is the Red Rocks Ride In. I am hoping that is far enough out to be ok. Just waiting to see what happens. I am not going to jump up and start touring just because some arbitrary order has been lifted. I want to see some proof that lifting that order didn't restart things all over again first. I too am in a vulnerable group both by age and health conditions, so I will wait and watch. Besides I have the rest of season 1 of "Itchy Boots" and season 2 (up to where she gets locked down in Peru) to watch. I am anxious to see the Argentine part of those travels as I used to live in Argentina.

No, Sturgis will probably get canceled and even if it doesn't we won't be there plus no house guests this summer either. Hate to turn away friends, but don't want to tke any chances. Most of our shooting events have been canceled so far into late June.

I can see canceling events a couple months out, but saying things will be cancelled in Aug/Sept is absurd. Contractually for entertainment/vendors, it might be a hassle, but are those entertainers/vendors getting bookings elsewhere? It's at dreadful situation, but I'm not into doomsday mode as of yet.

Sad to say, but I will not be going to any events nor taking any overnight trips (on bike or not) at this point in the crisis.

that is a tough question?????? Personally, we are planning on still going to all events from July on this year with the hope that this ugly virus crap will be mostly subsided by then..
