so i have been playing phone tag than e mail tag with elka shocks in canada about my new shocks and my front end being low. it turns out that the shocks that pitbull sold me after waiting over a month and a half to get them are the wrong shocks. the ones i have are for a earlier model rt and are one inch shorter than the one for the 14 rt. so i am now waiting for a call from pitbull to see what we are going to do about this problem. i had ron and his son install the shocks and it was a tough job to do not it looks like i might have to take another ride and pay ron to change them out again. this sucks

seems they would have measured them before installing. I had to return two sets because they were the wrong size only to find out they did not make my size. (not elkas). Seems elka should reimburse you if they sent the wrong ones...:dontknow: Ron only installed what they sent...

please understand i am not bad mouthing pitbull, i am just upset that after waiting for over a month and traveling and paying for them to be installed, i am still waiting for a call back to see what we are going to do about the problem

ok here is what is going on. pitbull is contacting elka and they will get me out a new set of shocks and they will see who who is going to pay for the install of the new ones i get. they assured me things will be straightened out

originally with the first set of elkas they sent me my bike was 16 inches from the floor to the tip of the frunk, today with the correct elkas for the bike it now measures 17 1/4 inches to the nose of the bike.
