• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just landed

With that non-exsistent windshield, Raptor will be eating BUGS for lunch. LOL!!

Believe you me, I can get my Spyder going pretty quick off the line and down the road even with the windshield and bags (tried and tested)

... as long as Geoff isn't on the back weighing her down. :D

The dealer I went to today for my rear tire replacement was very concerned about liability issues. They actually made me sign a waiver before they would install the G-Force Sport, as it was not the stock recommended tire from BRP. They also were not interested in filming me attempting to burn off the old tire on my SE5 before they replaced it. :(

My dealer had no problem with putting the Kuhmo on mine. As for not wanting to filming the burnout..... there are names for people like this. :shemademe_smilie:

So you went with the G-force? I think that's a great choice! My tech was telling me to stick with the OEM tyre as well (they want to make money eh?!?), but I think the G-Force is a much better tyre. Yokohama makes a racing tyre in our size that is AWSOME. That might be pushing it just a bit though! :D I'm still wondering what to do with the fronts. I was actually thinking about going with the 185/60R-14 size. That way I could run Falken ZIEX ZE-912 tyres front and back. These are nice tyres, very sticky and can channel some water if needed. A simple fender adjustment is all that is needed to run them.

Yeah, I bet Spydergirl would get me sufficiently off the line to make up for whatever she's draggin. I'm just not that good with the clutch yet. I've never been much of a drag racer anyway. I like the technical stuff. That's where the real racing is at...

Oh, yes I was eatin bugs with that Bat-wing Shield! :roflblack: I changed it out to a sport tour model. It's just enough. I can stay upright to about 80-85 and then after that I just tuck down, roll on throttle and watch the speedo climb. After about 108 she just kind of squats down like it's
on a rail. The Cowl is moving air nicely out the back now. Pretty awsome man... :ohyea:

P.S. I would have liked seeing that burn out film too!! BUZZKILLS!!

I thought signing the waiver was pretty funny; however, I must admit that if it weren't for others out here already running this tire the waiver may have scared me enough to keep me from doing it. nojoke

The G Force is an awesome looking tire with great specs on it, 340 tread wear, AA traction, and A temperature. The best thing is I got if from Tire Kingdom for $115 and some change, which is less than the dealer wanted for the OEM tire. I will also replace the fronts with car tires when the time comes.

I should have forced my wife to film me doing a burn out yesterday with it, but knowing my luck I would have popped the dang tire and been stuck! :roflblack:

I am not sure it will be able to burn this new tire as easily as it could the stock one.

I don't think so either. These Kenda's seem to me to be very hard. So you can spin em' pretty easily. The G-force will take a lot more effort. But it CAN be done!! :D I wouldn't though, just for a while. Heck man, you just got it! :roflblack:

Yes, but I am wondering if I can get the front wheels off the ground with it! :yikes: :D
