I just got off the phone with Lamont just now.

His Dad passed away at 6pm last evening.

I know that he is in a better place with our Lord now and away from his pain. I wish the Lords grace and comfort to Lamont and his family during their time of loss.

I know all your words of encouragement and well wishes in the other post meant a great deal to Lamont and I am very proud to be a member with all of you here at Spyderlovers.

Lamont, I am sorry for your loss, and please tell your mother she is in our thoughts and prayers for Gods comfort and peace during this tough time in her life.

So sorry for your loss, Lamont. Nothing can fill the empty hole in your heart left by the passing of your father at this time. Even though I lost my dad 15 years ago, we still have pretty good talks and I know he's still there for me when I need him. And as time passes and the pain of his physical loss has faded I find myself smiling and remembering all those good times (and some of those times that I'm sure contributed to his gray hair) we shared. Knowing what you were going through today had you in my thoughts which in turn made me think more of my own dad and he was right with me as I was riding along and he was smiling! Hope you and your family can get to that comforting place soon, too.
