• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gotta say I really like the ST. The larger wheels and tires really look good. Shame I've only had my RTS since June. However, Bruisersbaby's 2010 RTS is paid off :ohyea:

Im really pumped about it more so than I thought!
Tomorrow new shocks and 2brothers intake and building a cold air intake..... Yes I'm having fun!

Yazz...... It's terriable your going to hate it.... :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::doorag:
Riding has a real good chance of meaning buying...... And I can hook you up.... I'm like a drug dealer on here tonight, but I'm just to excited about this thing it's awesome!

sonicsix...

I picked my RT Ltd up in Wyoming & had a fantastic ryde home to Tennessee this past October. Gave me a chance to see some beautiful country, meet some outstanding folks, and break in the Spyder solo and "gently". Wouldn't have traded the trip for anything. Now, we're gettin' ready to winter in TX & I can't wait to do some 'splorin' down there. Point is ... the machine can take it. Break-in periods, given todays metallurgy & machining and assembly tolerances, are more oriented to the ryders capabilities than it is to the equipment, IMO. Read the manual thoroughly, pay attention to the normal things you would on any new piece of equipment (oil levels, inflation pressures, handling characteristics, etc.) and you should see no ill effects - short or long term. JMHO.

She sure is purrty, Len!! May have to take a closer look after we get a few more miles on Cas!! ;)

Are the new shocks an experiment? I understand it handles great as is? It will be interesting to see the results! I know there are a lot of us waiting to see an ST up close and personal.

Rolled in a few hours ago and I have to say I've been a big RT fan and I can see myself really really liking this one! It's just awesome, has some of the comforts of an rt but way more of a motorcycle feel, it's very free and fun!!! Love it guys

If you're coming off of an RT... Those ST Limiteds are just FREAKY good...
The difference is amazing, and I also have to wonder just how much improvement can be found for the handling...

Thanks for sharing this info. I had read the online owner's manual and had formed my opinion based on what I gleaned from it. However, your post (along with pitbull's) has convinced me to broaden my search area a little. So who has a heck of a deal on a 2012 RS SE5? Or maybe a base 2013 ST SE5? :)
