As of today" we are in our 6th day "of the Heat Wave" here in Vermont.

I am not complaining, before I know it will be time to bring out the sleds! ( off topic).

Deanna

I dunno about 'heat-wave' Deanna, I know it's not something you're really used to in that part of the World, but it sounds very much to me like you're experiencing a fairly mild 'Aussie Summer' over there!?! :dontknow:

So just get out & enjoy the Ryding! You are absolutely right about it not being too long before you'll be getting those sleds out again - doesn't time just fly when you're having fun!

Here in the Adelaide Hills where I live, we are well into our Winter now, with the overnight low temps (in °C) getting well down into the low single digits (if not sub-zero) & the max day-time temps only reaching the low teens at best; plus we're getting heavy fogs & cold drizzle most mornings; a few heavier rainy days; and nothing much better for the foreseeable future! The weather's really putting a dampener on my early morning rydes atm, and I must admit that I may have just skipped a couple of particularly cold &/or wet days; but then, on those few days where the early morning fog & drizzle has cleared up a little so we've seen a bit of sun, I've compensated by adding a few 'daytime rydes' too, so I'm still ryding most days! Still, there are days when I really miss those crisp clear 'snow day' mornings I used to enjoy so much! Who'da thunk it?! :yikes:

Warmer Days

:coffee: Welcome back to Summer. Today's high will be 82°F and sunny. Tomorrow the high will be 85°F with sunshine. Gotta get the grass cut sometime soon. Have a fun day and Ryde when you can. .....

Two or three days of sun and more 80's coming our way in Valley Springs. We are going to ride each day. It is currently in a dry spell, so the grass has slowed down. Going to get 10 days or so out of the last cut.

The weather people said expect some showers and a little cooler in a couple days. All in all, I think it has been a pretty good June here.
