• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Jump start pack

These seem to be handy accessories to carry around for the occasional emergency jump start.

What models do people here have?

Have you ever used it?

Where did you buy it?

thanks

That they are....

I have the antigravity unit and it works well. I have used it in several occasions both on cars and bikes. I got mine online at ebay but recently saw a much smaller unit at Zoozmc.com. There are other brands out there you can check out.

I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/Lightning-Rescue-Ultra-Start-Pack/dp/B00LLH8Q5C. I bought it when I was working at a dealership, I was skeptical about them when I first saw them but a customer bought one and came back the next day telling us how he had jumped a diesel truck with it for a guy stuck on the road. I have used it and it works fine. I used to pack a set of motorcycle jump cables when we went on long trips, now I just make sure we have the lighning pak.

Sorry, I don't see any "Accessory"....

It says jump start pack in the subject line.(might not be visible on your device) I have the anti gravity XP-10 in my four wheeler and the XP-3 in the spyder. Have used them both and like them. Got them on eBay.

I bought mine from zoozmc.com at the Red Rock Spyder Rally in St. George. Haven't used it yet, just thought it looked like a good idea. I paid $100.00 at the rally.

I have 2 of them.

This is what I carry in the Spyder. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/12V..._1&btsid=11102b0a-1634-4d33-adca-0838cd7871b8

Used it a couple times for various reasons and vehicles and always worked.

I recently bought another one for the car from Amazon.ca. It was being offered for an unbelievably low price of 69.99 CAD. They have since changed the brand name and doubled the price. It comes in a very nice fitted case. https://www.amazon.ca/Anker-PowerCo...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=8THGX0EGRWY56JWQEQP8

Check out Amazon they have dozens for sale most under $100 & a lot better than the one advertising on tv

Antigravity Micro-Start PPS XP-3
I have never had to use it on the Spyder, but have used it twice on the Honda CRV.
Good luck,
Roger

No matter which one you choose. Get one the right size. 300 amp would be good enough for the Spyder and other small power sports stuff. 400 amp for general car, light truck and anything smaller. 600 amp or better for small diesel and big gas engines.

I bought one of the X-10 antigravity batteries, too. Everyone talks about using them for jumpstarts, which is great. But the real useful thing to me is I can use them to recharge my SENA blue tooth headsets while I eat lunch on long trips. (The power outlets in the truck are turned off when the Spyder is off.) I can also use them when camping to recharge stuff if there isn't any power at the site.

You Americans get everything first. I have to plug my SJS jump starter into the battery to start a flat battery. You guys just turn on your "anti gravity" units and fly home! :ohyea:...I hope that technology reaches us soon
