• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:coffee: YES, the month is flying by very quickly. Still need a little more rain.
Today's high 81°F and sunny. Tomorrow's high will be only 83°F. Sunday will be 89°F.

Enjoy your Ryde Time and Stay Healthy. .....

Sunny Day

:coffee: Sun and some rain today. High of 86°F.
Tomatoes are doing very well. I have been eating vine riped for about a week now. Got to love the fresh flavor of the 'big boy '.
Enjoy your Ryde Time. ......

Yeah, go on... rub it in whydoncha!! :gaah:

After a cold but fine weekend, we're expecting -1° overnight, with a heavy frost, & then maybe 4° tomorrow, mainly cloudy with a 5% chance of rain. :sour:

But I AM still ryding most days, just waiting a bit longer for things to warm up a tad before heading out... with the windscreen raised a bit more than usual tho! :ohyea:

Isn't life grand!

Kingston, Ontario area: Too. Effing. Hot.
Went for a ride on Friday, the display read 35C for a good part of the ride. This thing blocks the wind so well, even my hands were sweating (yes, I wear gloves). Had to peel my socks off when I got home (yes, I wear riding boots). Because I always wear full gear (including a full face helmet), I don't usually ride on days this hot, but hey, it was my first real opportunity to take her for a ride, so I went.

I just checked the next 10 day outlook. The lowest temperature will be 89F and the highs will reach 116F. There will be no days that don't reach at least 107F. The battery tender and cover stay on for now.....

Wednesday

:coffee: Still running on the warmer days. Today's high 86°F and sunny. Evening temperatures are staying warm 70°F.
The tomatoes are doing very well.
Enjoy your Ryde Time. .......

Thursday

:coffee: Weather People have been saying rain for the last three days. Nothing yet, but maybe today (60% chance). Time will tell.
I just watered my tomatoes really good. Sometimes this makes it rain. :roflblack: :roflblack: Still need an inch of rain.

Today's high going to be 80°F . Ryde and Enjoy your Day......

Valley Springs AR: got a nice soaker rain for about an hour yesterday. More predicted today. We can use a little greening up of the landscape.

Puddles in Duck Creek, Utah area indicated that Monday's 20% chance of rain ended up to be 100%
Made for beautiful clouds on Tuesday!

Plan to ride with friend (African Twin or Vrod) to Mt. Charleston tomorrow morning.
Leave at 7 AM, back by 10 AM, should only be 103 F in the Valley upon return (high forecast of 112 F, tomorrow)

Those "valley of the furnace" rides are interesting to say the least. We have the Ozark Mountains all around our valley. Many times a bit cooler there but noticeable heat when going back home. We are on one of the highest hills in our valley though.

The heli pad at the top of Lee Canyon, 40 miles from home, is 8668 feet elevation
Kyle Canyon tops at about 7,000. Forecast tomorrow at 8 AM is 78 F, high of 87 F, 25 degrees cooler than valley at 112 F, tomorrow.
Great above about 6,000 feet!

Rainy Days

:coffee: YES, finally got some rain (.6"). They say more rain on the Way.
Today's high will be only 75°F and cloudy/rain. Enjoy your Ryde and be Safe. ......
