There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Juicebox or power commander??

I have the two brothers carbon fiber dual exhaust on my 2012 RSS. Can't decide between the Juicebox or a power commander. The Juicebox is made by two brothers and specifically for my make and model. At first I thought that's definitely the way to go But to my understanding it's just plugs in and there is no fine tuning on a computer?.? I think power commanders get tuned up on the computer... Can some tell me if this is correct and there opinion on the way to go? Need to do something soon as I get small cracks and pops backfires when I slow down and don't downshift right away. It's annoying !!! Thanks for your time.

Neither or Either..!!

depending if you need one. If mods are not drastic your roadster does a good job with the mapping. If you are having problems and need more than the system can do then either one will work. In most cases one is not needed but recommended by pipe sellers anyway...:dontknow:

I have the Power Commander 5 with Two Brothers single exhaust. It runs outstanding with it. I had some popping without it, not anymore. I do run the quiet core in the exhaust. Still pretty loud though!

It depends on how much $$$
You want to spend and how much you like to tune -- power commander is big $$ to get all the auto tune components to mAke it plug and play -- juice box pro can be purchased for about 1/2 or less on eBay and has pre installed maps that should work perfect w the 2 brother exhaust - you can also make your own fuel maps - and tune on the fly w JB Pro--I have juice box pro w single brothers exhaust / works great - I have tweaked a few areas to my liking. -

I would recommend the Power commander. I had the juice box first (also have two bros dual) and it actually made my bike run worse. Thought I had a bad juice box and two bros was really nice about it and sent me another one. Unfortunately that did not help and was giving the same issues. I then went with the Power commander and Auto Tune which is not necessary but will fine tune your bike to exactly what it should be. After doing the Power commander my Spyder has never ran better. It is a bit on the expensive side but WELL worth it.

How's idle after the Power Commander? Is the throttle response a little more "snappy"? Some programmers that adjust the fly-by-wire throttle simply change the computer's recognition of the throttle position, making 25% throttle actually 50%, etc. making it seem to have a stronger pull, but it's actually more of a exponential throttle adjust. Corvette guys do it all the time.

Do you have the dynotech power commander v ? Upgraded air filter?

It is definitely more responsive but to my knowledge its not because of a change in throttle position. When hooked up to the software it shows you throttle position. 0% is ZERO and 100% is 100

Yes, it is the PC5. Also with the auto tune which I would highly recommend also. At first I ran the stock air filter then upgraded to the K&N air filter. I now pulled out the stock airbox and have JT's intake kit with a WIX air filter. Between each change I let the auto tune do its job and create a new map for each performance change.

Can you tell me if you have single or dual channel auto tune?

Just wondering why some people find the decel popping/backfiring annoying? I find it very awesome and love it! It sounds badass and exotic to me! So much so, that I will probably skip getting a fuel manager and forfit increased performance of one just because it'd make my decel popping go away.

Btw, I have the exact same two brothers dual carbon fiber exhaust, it really makes Rotax music!!

I have PCv

I have the PCv with auto tune for a year on my 2012 RT se5 and its just pure awsomeness! with K&n filter ,cat -delete , and 2.5'' exhaust with big bore muffler. bike ran lean enough to throw codes that's when I
invested in a GOOD fuel management system - two brothers juice box didn't work out for me.

I prefer a cleaner sound I guess. It only happens when slowing down- and should be down shifting. But I agree these pipes sound pretty mean...I set car alarms off all the time when I pass by close lol

I have the single channel
I Was wondering if u have the dual carbon fiber tbr exhuast??
also I am about to install the PCv w/ auto tune and I ordered the k&n air filter. Any advice ?before I go ahead with all of this. With auto tune do you still need to connect to computer?Sorry I have had bikes before but never with this set up so I am very green on the subject of power commanders and auto tune (which still not 100 on what it does lol)
Found my bike running so lean it's burning the baffles packing at half the rate it should. Started to brown the edge of my cf pipe so I guess it's time do this. I am very excited. To get a lil more out my rss. All a advice welcome. Thxs
