There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Juicebox and low speed burble

I know this has probably been beaten' to death but I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. I have a 2010 RS SM5 with 2brothers dual exhaust, Green filter and Juicbox.I have spent the past 2 days tweaking it and feel I have gotten it pretty close. It is very crisp off the line and pulls way harder than stock right through the power band. However, there seemes to be a low speed burble I can't get rid of between 2500 and 3000 rpm. Is this normal? Here are my settings; mode 2-4, mode 3-3, mode 4-5, mode 5-.5, mode 6-2. The burble goes away when the rpm's are held at that point. There is no stumble at all. Thanks

Awesome. Thanks guys. The o2 modifier keeps popping up in my searches on the subject. Was wondering if that gizmo would help with the burble. I will get one coming this week.

You have a green filter so you're getting in more air. The Spyder traditionally runs lean, but this problem has been reduced with the updates. When I first installed the JB, I had almost all the settings up high...now, they're much lower as you can get quite a rich mixture with the JB...

The only issue I ever have is a bit of exhaust popping in 4th gear, when coming out of coasting. I have further lowered my setting 5 and this seems to help...I already have number 2 pretty low...it's not a major issue, but I'm trying to bang this out.

I am very happy with the JB...I have the green filter and the hindle...

Your JB settings for #5 and 6 may need to be spread more as this has been demonstrated on this forum before. Usually at least a 2.5 difference works better.

Went out yesterday and ended up dialing it back quite a bit. I think it was rich. Still is a bit of a bear down low and I will have the o2 modifier here tomorrow (Wed') and will post the results once I install it. ?- is exaust popping caused by a lean mixture or rich? I've heard differing opinions on that. Thanks again, Steve

Update: Installed the 02 mod on Wed' and it runs incredible. Goes like a "gang raped ape".Ended up dialing everything back. Mileage is good although haven't checked it on a refill. Will do that soon to get an actual mpg. New settings are 2-3,3-4,4-2,5-.5,6-.5. I know many of you say not to have the JB set the same on 5&6 but mine runs great set this way. Very crisp and pulls instantly when I give it the juice. Wanted to say TY:2thumbs: to those that chimed in and offered their input. It is much appreciated!

It will run fine with settings 5 and 6 the same--- BUT-- you will notice the problem sometimes when you're passing someone--- you'll go WOT and then go to back it down a bit to just 'accelerating' and BAM your engine will cut out for a second or two-- kind of scary at first......

I've passed at least a half dozen times since backing the settings down and so far so good. Actually, so far so great. Pulls so freakin' hard if I'm not leaning forward a little bit it would feel like I was falling off the back. Maybe that issue is waiting for that perfect time to rear it's ugly head.:yikes:Like in a very short passing zone. I am a firm believer in;"if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" At least I know where to start if that ever happens. So, thank you again.:bowdown:I appreciate all your help! Like I always say...;"Just ride the D*#$^ thing!

I can reproduce this issue around 100MPH. Let off anywhere around 100MPH and it cuts out for a second or 2. I liked the .5 and .5 settings except for this issue. Seems to do it less and less until you get to an offset of 3.5 between the 2 settings. Mine has done this with more than one juice box.

shut down

You got that right--A little more than scarry when you are sitting on 100 mph and passing a line of three or four trucks doing everybit of 80 mph--and your Spyder shuts down just as you pull back into their lane.:yikes::pray:.
Needless to say I adjusted the #5&#6 modes to give them a little more spread.nojoke

I guess I'll never have to worry about it 'cause you will never see me doing 100 mph on one of these stupid beer cans on 3 wheels. I've bumped 80 just passing a couple of cars so far and that's fast enough. I have no problem doing 120-130 mph on a sled down a straightaway class 4 FR because there are no cars or trucks on the trails.Trees don't grow on trails or roads so if you hit one, you're probably doing something you shouldn't be doing. LOL You guys are nuts playing around tractor trailers around 100 mph. I'll take a pass on that. Thanks! Pun intended! ;)
