• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

juice box quick question....help..

Doing the install now...

Where is everyone putting the box? If you do what twobros says, it's not easily accessible...is there another place to safely put it where you can quickly access it, if need be?

Thanks all..

Also, the injector under the air box....tough!!!!!

oh yeah...one more quickie...

Can Lamont or Evan post those optimal settings again?

thanks...can't find on search for some reason...

I put mine theres a little hole to the right front side of the set when you lift it.... mines there i can pull it out and ride with it or keep it hidden from the weather.... what ever i want to do and as far as the settings deepens on what you got done to the spyder??????

I do not think the JB is compatible with my bike...all installed fine until the left side of the bike...it appears that the JB plugs have 2 prongs and for some reason, the plugs on my bike have 3...this makes it a bit tough to match.

Is it possible that my bike has diff. plugs...thus making the JB unable to work with my bike?

I used Velcro to stick it to the frame under the bulge in the center section. That way I can just pull the center section and ride it is right in front of me and I can stop and without moving do a little change and then ride to see if it worked. When I am satisfied it is easy to put the center section back on and it is hidden from eyes and weather.

okay, the video is 100% necessary...the one on the left is about 100x harder to get in...wow...

We didn't remove the airbox but doing so would certainly make the process easier!

okay...gonna give it a try here...

To get to the left side I had to remove the 6 torx head bolts inside the air box that go into the throttle body as well as move the Bosch sensor held in place with one bolt and a couple of vacuum lines. Then I was able to move the box out of the way far enough and get at the spring clip on the injector.

yeah...that one is really tough to get to. Evan said it was tricky too...it was! I thought the right one was supposed to be tougher but the left turned out to be much worse...

Got all my panels back on...just have to change the settings and tuck it away for a ride...

No...we got it...the plugs on the left side of the bike are really hidden...on the instructions, it looks like they're quite superficial...of course, the 3 sets of plugs that are on the outside don't work!

We had to poke and prod to find the correct fuel injector plug...luckily, the video by twobros is available...it helps a LOT!

I recommend the video for anyone doing a juice box install...

Now I just have to hook up Lamont's configs. and I'm good to go...will report soon...

Here is the settings Lamont was running, not sure if he has changed since with all the different pipes he's tried.

How did you find those? That's what I need...Lamont did change one of them...spoke with him today and I should be set...it's probably fun to play around with it a little, but I'm sure Evan and Lamont have already had all the fun! :D

I tried Lamont's settings and they didn't work for me so I went back to the TBR setting as a start and am still doing some tuning. I found that with the weather so hot I had to wait a bit and tune in cooler weather.

Interesting points...

I guess part of the fun is finding out what works for you...I'll start with Lamont's and tweak from there....from TN to MD...hmm...summers about the same but other seasons warmer where he is...

Regardless, we have to modify the JB to match our ryding types...

It's a fun little gadget...I'm excited to play with it...

I finally decided to install it under the center plastic piece....it fits nicely...just take out the 2 plastic 'plug' thingys and velcro it to the frame underneath...it stays hidden yet is easy to get out...far better than taking off the whole side panel...

Lamont has his under the seat near the gas tank cover...not too shabby there either but I decided I liked it more where I put it...

Now to set it and ryde!

Just curious what Lamont changed,i've tried some of my own but found Lamont's worked pretty well. One other thing did you find the yellow lights tend to have a red yellow mix when adjusting them?It just throws you off a little when you have to work fairly quickly to change settings.:2thumbs:

yes...they do...

I'm currently working on settings 2 and 3 to optimize them...guess I gotta run a tank or two on each setting to really see what works best...

The JB is definitely a neat mod...probably the single best performance mod we can do...in addition to changing from the stock pipe...
