• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi!
Just installed the 12V outlet & adaptor plate, looks and works great. I had a thought. I, like a lot of RT riders tried using the "twist-on" suction cup Ram Mount with the 1" ball. It does fit tight, however driving down the road the GPS shook wildly side-to-side. The mount itself seems very solid, but I think the culprit is that the ball is rubber, not metal. Even a very slight flex of the arm on the rubber (with a 3" bar) is probably shaking the GPS.

Your aluminum adaptor seems super tight and strong, especially using the BRP bracket.

If you made a tweak to the mount design, just putting a 1/4-20 thread in the center for a B-Ball (1" METAL ball, NOT rubber), it would probably sell very well. You can attach cup holder, GPS, X-Mount for phone, etc. I suspect the shaking would go away or at least be minimal.
