Is there any compelling reason why full birthdate is required? I'm not inferring that I don't trust this site, but the fewer places that contain my personal information, the better I feel. I entered the year of my birth which was 1947, and I don't find the joke forum available to me. Regardless of what day I was born on, the year certaintly qualifies me to be more that 18 years old.... I moved the joke thread to the new joke forum.

So thread title says NSFW but when you click to read the joke the NSFW is gone as a prefix. Just curious as to that behavior and yes I get that the warning needs to be before you click the thread but for some reason it bugs me it doesn’t show once you have clicked to read it.

And yes, I also understand this is a personal problem!

I dont have a way to force a user to add the letters in red to the title itself.

Great idea, I just have concerns about having to add my birthday. Considering companies like Facebook, Apple, Bank Of America, American Express etc have had hackers steal client data, I’m a little leery about entering my birthdate on a forum. (No offense Anthony, I think u do a great job here). Especially one like this, a Spyder/Ryker forum where most owners are above legal driving age. Some...very much over legal riding age! Lol.
But I’m sure tons of people will have fun w this. Enjoy everybody!

It's all in the works. The idea is to move the current Joke "thread" from the Off Topic "forum" to a "forum" of its own.

I got them mixed up the first time also. I think he is in a wait and see mode to make an official change.

Maybe some additional comment on the subject will give more input.

I'd rather you keep the joke thread in the off-topic forum for those of us who don't want to wade through dirty, raunchy, swearing and political language.

Is there a way to un-do access to the joke forum? I went back to my profile and deleted the year of my birth. There was no provision to delete the day and month that I could find. I am interested in just looking at the "whats new" forum and now find it cluttered with jokes. Not what I expected and not what I am interested in. I want to bail out from seeing all the jokes being posted. My profile shows 0000 as my birth year but still has month and day and I am still seeing and able to access all the jokes. Get me outa there..... Jim
