• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I picked up my 2015 F3 SM5 yesterday...spyder.jpg

Just in time for hurricane Hermine to visit town today. I don't know which is worse...waiting to pick it up or having it sit in my garage not being able to ride!!

I made sure the dealer had the brake line relocation and frame support issues covered before pick up and can't wait to hit the roads this weekend once the weather clears.

Gonna review the sticky on riding and just want to say thanks to everyone for all the great information I have found in the forums!

At least when it's in the garage you can look at it and sit on it! Congrats!

Newbie here as well and just purchased the same model. Congrats!

Can you tell me more about the brake line relocation and frame support issues? Or point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the welcome! I was reading through all the F3 threads and came across those as issues. Here are a couple threads:

http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?77865-F3-Recall&highlight=brake+line

http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?96188-New-frame-F3s&highlight=cracked+frame

I also mentioned the rear shock to my dealer and he mentioned that we may be able to work something out to get it replaced. I'll update on that one in a few weeks...

Hope these help. The recall on the rear brake line should have been cleared by the dealer before giving you the spyder. The frame issue may be the same, not sure since some mentioned that it was a warranty issue versus recall issue.

Since I can't take the bike out yet due to the weather, I have gone to visit it in the garage. One trip was after reading the operation manual and having to set the clock and reset the gauge back to MPH - I accidentally changed it pushing buttons yesterday :D
