There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

$1500 complete isn't all that bad considering you get a sub, speakers, pods, wiring, enclosure in a nice and tidy package.

looks nice, but where do you put your helmet, let alone 2 helmets ? had a discussion previous with a nice lady spyder ryder, and she could not stuff 2 helmets in her trunk , or was questioning how I could stuff 2 in my trunk with an alpine deck mounted similar to this ?????:2thumbs:

When I see this type of sound system on a bike all it does is make my ears ring. I mean, I would love to have this set up. I'm a JL Audio user through and through. But I have to use ear plugs just to hear after riding for about 1 1/2 hours because my ear will ring. So, I couldn't imagine how loud I would have to play my music on this in order for me to hear. I can't even think about the people who wear no hearing protection AND listen to music on systems similar to this (stock or aftermarket).
I guess the solution would be to purchase ear plugs that can isolate sound to a certain decibel. I know Sensaphonics makes one but I'm afraid to ask what it will cost since their price isn't listed.

They're around $150.00. $50.00 of that is for the Audioligist to take impressions of your ears.
Hang them on the mirrors. Buy a retractable lock.
That's not so bad. Now, only if I could get their ProPhonic 2X-S Custom Molded Earphones and tie them into my Interphone F4 headset. That would be the best...isolate the engine and wind noise and hear my music and navigation at lower volume levels.

That looks pretty cool, but I doubt the general public would want to hear my music at the level it would have to be cranked up to in order for me to hear it. 
I suppose I could always claim I was partially deaf, or well on my way to being there if I had that installed. :thumbup:

i force my taste in music to everyone around me everyday.
i have to overpower two brothers pipe without the tip and evoluzione's race air intake so you know the music has to be loud. some would raise their window but i don't know if it's because of music or two bros or the extra smoggy exhaust from the pipe.:dontknow:
but i try to cater to everybody by mixing it up a bit.

A friend of mine had this unit installed and it sounds great. She did not have the woofer installed and it still sound great.:2thumbs:

Yes, a lady here has them on her phantom Spyder. Sounds really nice, however the unit takes up a good portion of the trunk space. She has the Corbin saddlebags and trunk which helps with that.
It looks kinda weird from the front but really cool from the seat position. :2thumbs:

SureFire EarPro EP3's - I work for SF, I use these, I love them. Under $15. I use them for riding and for shooting... from pistols all the way through a .308 minigun and .50 BMG. Great isolation and comfort, but still hear sounds up to 85dB. Regular hearing tests (from the on staff audiologist) shows no hearing loss from my 'noisy' exploits. My son plays in several bands and uses them when practicing and on stage.
