• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Jay Leno tests the Morgan 3-wheeler

OK, you sit in it and not on it but it's still a reverse trike and it has a 2-litre S&S (Harley) engine but little else.
Like no ABS, no power steering, no nanny to limp your ride home, etc, etc.. Just British eccentricity, circa 1910.

So why is the engine in FRONT of the hood???

I think it's because it's an air-cooled engine and it will get all the air it needs out front. If I'm wrong there will undoubtedly be several people along directly to tell me so. It's why I love this forum. :firstplace: :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

:agree: Can't cover an air cooled engine...

Plus the Harley [ss] engine is a work of art and doesn't need to be hidden under plastic like.... some...

It's out there for cooling, for styling, and to pay tribute to the original...
...And I'd have it in my garage in less than half-a-heartbeat!

They're hand built, individually and they sell at around £30,000 depending on which trim/extras/paintjobs the customer wants. And BTW the S&S motor owes more to Victory than Harley. I've already looked at these as I have a Main Dealer not ten minutes away! Absolutely stunning!

Very nice. I am guessing a bit "pricey"?

You can buy one new for £30,000 Sterling, (latterly British colonial money but don't let's get into that, I'm having a nice day), which at about $1.5 to the Pound is $45,000, or about 2 Spyder RT's worth and change. It would be scary to know what the Morgan cost in 1910.

Funny you should mention that, I was thinking how incredibly butch the Honda V-Tec looked under the hood of my new Civic and it crossed my mind as I checked its oil what a pretty coffee table it would make with a glass top. Alice wouldn't stand for it, though, she doesn't see engineering as an art form. Maybe I attract the wrong kind of women. ;)

Ace Cycle Car in Seattle developed and built these for several years before Morgan contracted with them to build the new Mog from Ace's plans. The Ace version is still available, check 'em out.

I don't know, Bob, the last time I was in their website, the baseline model with a 96 inch H-D was 34K.

I certainly could be wrong :opps:. I thought that I had seen pricing up around $52,000. :yikes:
I kind of hope that I am... ;)
