• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. New Years Day

:coffee: Well, Indiana is starting out with some snow on the ground and 28°F. We have freezing rain/ice coming down. Travel is a mess right now. Be careful if you need to be out.

Today's high will be 39°F with all day rain. Low of 31°F

Stay Healthy. ......

Valley Springs AR: we are in a Low pressure area. The rain snow mix is right over us. It will remain to be seen what we end up with come 8:00 AM or so. :bbq:

EDIT: The trees have a coating of white. Not sticking on the ground so far.

Cloudy and 39* with a little rain on the way. Nice day to stay inside and watch a movie or two. Firing up the Crock pot as I type.

Nothing but blue sky. Light breeze and low 60s here in the desert S.W. Getting ready to go for a short ride. Very glad to see 2020 end. It was a record breaking year for us. Some of the records broken as recorded in Phoenix..... Least number of days with precipitation (15), Highest average monthly temperature (August 99.1F), most days with lows of 90F or more (28), most days of 115F and above (14), most days of 110F and above (53), most days of 105F and above (102), most days of 100F and above (145), and most days of 95F and above (172). These are all records broken for all time. It was a HOT and DRY year. Looking forward to a more normal 2021..... Jim

Weekend Weather

:coffee:Welcome to the First Weekend of 2021. A little chilly this morning at 32°F.

A little snow today and tonight. High of 36°F and low 30°F.
Sunday's high will be only 34°F, low 25°F.

Enjoy your Weekend. ......

Valley Springs AR: As I look out the window it is snowing. Supposed to have mid 50's in a couple days, so that should take care of any accumulation.

Valley Springs AR: 30 above this AM. The ground was covered in frost. Finally starting to melt off. Cold and crisp with an "edge" to it.

Monday

:coffee: Well the sun is up but it looks like a lot of clouds. There is no snow on the ground now. Morning temperature is 30°F.

Today a high of 39°F, low of 30°F.

Enjoy your Day. .....

Short ride today, 14 miles but at least got a January ride in. 48 degrees. Took about a mile before temp gauge started to move.

Temperature here in the desert is expected to get to 70 for the next few days. Did a little over 200 miles with some friends yesterday. Next scheduled ride is Wednesday. Love this time of year. I am already planning more than a couple rides of 2 weeks or longer for 2021. COVID, COVID, go away. Do not come back another day..... Jim

Valley Springs AR: Every couple years, I slip a disk in my back. Well...it's that time again. No riding now for about a week. We are in daily highs of 40's and 50's. The nights have been cold for this area. Low 20's. We have morning frost that takes until about 10:00 AM to melt off. Very cold and "edgy" in the early AM.

Hope the back issue clears up before the new F3L gets here. It is my job to put the first 100 miles on it...just to make sure that it is safe to ride for Linda. :dg1::dg2::riding::riding:
