• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

hi all is their a way to jack the front end of the spyder up to get both wheels of the ground at the same time or is better to lift each one seperated and where can the jack be put.:helpsmilie::dontknow::yes:

Front center of the frame, just behind where it starts to rise. Be sure and block the rear tire and/or set the parking brake, and be sure to use jackstands to stabilize the Spyder. Frankly, I have done this and the jack is hard to get in there, and can slip on the frame readily without a rubber jack pad. It is an invitation to disaster! I would recommend doing each wheel separately, or jacking up the entire Spyder with an ATV jack.

I bought a Larin ATV jack with a roller seat from Farm&Fleet for $80.
It listed for $140. It worked well for my 2 wheelers and seems to work great for the :spyder2:, as well.
Just my experience.

It look like the jack is placed in the center of the :spyder2: just behind the front wheel. Is this the approximate location that would also be used for an RT? Thanks for any advice.

Sears ATV/Motorcycle Jack on Sale -$69.99

Ran across this on Sears website for anyone interested.

Here is one similiar to Lamont's for $149.99:

If I remember correctly, you don't want to support the Spyder using the lift for long periods. You should use stands. The Sears model allows you to lock the lift in place and release the pressure on the hydraulic pump.

My two cents.

sears used to have 2 diff models

a RED cheaper one which sometome had problems with the bottle

and a YELLOW better one. I would recommend the YELLOW one. it also starts out lower height then the red one

I got mine at sears paid $129.00 i think they have an aluminum one for $200.00 works great.

The Larin from Farm & Fleet ($80) is probably the way I'll go. Need to measure the clearance under the Spyder first. Seems most are 5.5" except for the Larin MAL-2C ATV (2.5"...$180) and the one from Harbor freight (4.5"...$150)
