• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamont had an old post for jack stand placement; but, the pictures no longer show.

I want to have all 3 wheels off the garage floor. Can someone tell me the placement of the jack stands? I'm putting the spyder up for the winter.

Is it a good idea to jack the :spyder2: for the winter ??:dontknow:

Pros and Cons ????

I do plan to fog the motor , change the oil and attatch a battery tender.

If it is gonna sit for say five months like us in NY I fill the tank with fuel add stabil to it do an oil change and throw a battery tender on it. No need to go crazy, They sit in the dealer showroom or in crates longer then our winters:thumbup:

Stabil in the gas is imperative. (Use double the recommended amount) Beyond that a battery tender and an oil change is all you will need. Stored bikes in Maine for nine months at a crack and all was well
