Jack Reacher fans

I ask you, how in any reality does that jack hole Tom Cruise equal Jack Reacher? I am about to give up on humanity.

For those not in the know Jack Reacher is a character in a series of books by Lee Child. It's my literary chewing gum and they are making a movie and putting that pipsqueak in as Jack Reacher.

Maybe they were short on funds to make the movie, so they hired a "SHORT" actor.

Reacher is 6' 5" tall (1.96m) with a 50-inch chest, and weighing between 210 and 250 pounds (100–115 kg). He has ice-blue eyes and dirty blond hair. That's from Wikipedia and that description comes nowhere near Tom Cruise!!! :banghead: Also according to Wikipedia, the movie is based on the book One Shot. And Lee Child is happy with the casting of the Cruise. I don't know - will prob wait until it comes to cable to watch it.

Yeah I didn't understand that either, I have read all the Reacher book and don't see Tom Cruise playing that role

Tom Cruise (aka pipsqueek)

Having read all of the Reacher books I can say that Tom Cruise is a very poor choice to play Reacher. Jack is 6' 5" and Cruise is about 5' 8". They'll have to unretire the munchkins to make this guy look like he's that tall and 230 lbs. That's what happens when you buy the movie rights. You can play whatever part you want. Might be a good movie but if you don't want to laugh, don't read the book first.:gaah:
