• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

J & M CB for RTS ?

I would think that RAM Mount would have the pieces needed to mount it to one of the four bolts at the center of the handlebars. Nancy'sToy created a simple mount for his GPS a couple of years ago.

Thanks, Mark but it would have to be mounted on left bar right by clutch clyinder so your thumb could push the push to talk trigger. If you look at there sight it shows how they are mounted for use on a bike. J & M makes a mount for the RS but not the RTS.

I know someone who has made a few brackets for the portable J&M CB system and will ask him to either respond to this thread or PM you.

Thanks, SpydherLuv, I have made contact with him already. Sounds like he has the answer to mount a J & M cb set on a RTS.

Wring Harness location

Where did you run your wiring harness for the CB? I have a J&M and want to mount it as well on a 2012 RT SM5 but not sure how to run the harness or place the intercom connectors, etc. Also, needing the method for mounting the CB.

On my wife's GS, I mounted the J&M CASPY 2003 (I think that's the name). It has a separate PPT button that mounts on the handlebars between the grip and control cluster. If you could get that model CB, you could mount it where you want and not have to worry about it's proximity to your left grip.
