• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

but no luck finding what I'm looking for. I want to remove the rear splash guard for a F3-T, so I can install a LED flag. I'm thinking it would be easier to remove the splash guard than to try squeezing my hand between the tire and the splash guard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can

Position flag. Mark and drill hole. On the left edge of the fender, drill a pair of holes near the edge, then another pair a few inches above that. Pass flag wire thru hole, and then zip tie the wire out of harms way. Remove rear seat, fender cover. Find the tag light wires. Tap in to power flag. Put back together. Make sure zip tie buckles are hidden. Done!
call if you need to. Joe

Thank you

Thank you Joe, as your post explains how to keep the wires away from the tire. I've already found, and attached the harness wire to the license plate light. That was the easy part.

I'll try to find a customer in Deadwood, and get a picture for you.

Dang, I was hoping to ryde out to you, so you can install it for me :joke:.

After all it is only a three hour ryde.

Kidding aside. I do need to get out there for an alignment for the Spyder.

Got it installed with just a small variation to your method. I put the holes/tie strap behind the license plate as you can see. This way it hid the tie strap, and used a slot for the saddle bag on top. I also backed the Spyder up a car ramp to raise it, so I would not be so low to the ground.
