• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've just Added Lights to our F3 Spyder!

I just added some driving lights to our Spyder. Was not sure how I wanted to do it so checked out some forums. I decided to go with mounting them on the upper A Arm. I have been noticing more and more bikes around here running amber lights in like the fog light area. Like HD aux lights and the ADV bikes on forks. The kit I got however was only white, but they are bright as heck. To my surprise the kit came with everything needed, although nowhere in the description did I see any reference to that. For $25 I didn't think it was a huge gamble even if I had to buy brackets and a switch.

Light kit-Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BTDD5PKM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 - $25

I used the power port on the left side under the "customer" panel. The harness is supplied with an inline fuse. All wires are nicely covered in a plastic tube and ends come with what looks like same type connectors as some of the BRP add-ons.

Last nite when I got the chance, I pulled out on our street. OMG the amount and color of the light was something else. I actually think if you were on a 2 lane I would have to turn them off. They are a much brighter white than the OEM headlights. And I thought those were a nice brite white. I agree lots of lights are nice to have. Back in the 80s and 90s when I had my GS1000 I had lights mounted on the crash bars that were bright. But they drew so much amperage (before LED) you could only run 1 at a time. They were landing lights for like a small airplane.

Just curious if you noticed the lights moving much at speed? The upper control arm would have a fair amount of up and down movement at road speeds.
