• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's Official- New Owners have rode off on my first Spyder

It was a little hard to part with but I'm sure the new owners will love their new bike as much as I did. Now the waiting game begins for the new ST-S.

I was waiting to see who would get it. That spyder is possibly the most decked out and road tuned you can find. I knew someone was gonna be one lucky person. You put it on sale a week after I bought mine, and I was like "Crap!."

:congrats:the new owners have bought a nice Spyder.May your ST arrive sooner than later.Looking forward to hearing all about it when it arrives.:yes:

They are going to love it. Any bets on how many people walk up to them and ask if that is Lamonts old RS?
Congrats on the sale and the upcoming ST.

As luck would have it they got the the gas station and said they had no headlights. I told them to seat the relays and then they through a code and it wouldn't start. I ran down there and checked everything out and it turned out the main relay was not getting a good connection. I clear all the codes and followed them to the freeway and so far so good. I can't believe they would have an issue right after I sold it to them. I hope this is the last as I did go through the whole bike before putting it up for sale.:banghead:
I guess stuff just happens even when you do your best to make sure it doesn't. They were very cool about it. :doorag:

:yes:The last I saw her was when she was leaving the hotel for home after Lamont's BBQ. She'll do it justice since she's a regular & she does most of her own wrenching. Congrats Bumblebee 67

That is great!

congrats on freeing up some space for the ST. If I had your dedication and patience, I would have waited for the ST but the urge was just too strong so I went ahead and got the 2012. Can't wait to see the mods you put on the ST.

Maybe there's something to it . . .

We can relate to how you felt watching somebody else driving away on your Spyder !
I have to admit, I felt a little choked up watching the new owners of our RT driving it into the back of a toy hauler! :(
And as luck would have it, we got a call from them a few days later when they tried to unload it . . . . it wouldn't start . :yikes:
nojoke

Now, we're eagerly waiting for the ST . . . .
really torn between the ST-S and the ST Limited.....
