• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's Hot And Getting Hotter

Today in Michigan we are going to have highs in the mid to upper nineties and very humid.

On top of that the AC is not working in the office. Not sure how I'm supposed to stay on top of my game with no AC to help cool the gray matter.

If I wither away to nothing today, it was nice knowing you all.

Keep cool everybody, I think most of us are in the middle of this heat wave.

It's been in the 110 + range here in Phoenix for the past couple of weeks, but at least not the humidity like you have. I'm looking forward to the end of summer so we can ride in comfort again.

I know, it's dry heat. But that is HOT!!!!!!

Take a long lunch, and go find an ice cream stand!
On the Spyder: of course! :D

No way I take a ride on the Spyder for ice cream to cool off. Not thinking that will work real well. The ride on the Spyder would be quite warm and the ice cream would melt before I could eat it. The heat is already getting to you, better take the rest of the day off Bob.

I have more than one toy in the toy box and two of them have air conditioning.

Yeah, it's the price we pay for year round riding. At least it's only a couple of really hot months, the rest of the year is awesome.:riding:

So I wish you well....get a misting bottle and a fan. Ryding times change here now and it's early ryding into the mountains and when the heat really kicks in a swing to the coast for the ryde home.:riding:

OMG Chup, I love your avatar. Who is that little fella, so cute.

I don't know but he's my always look under the hood fella....and with those dogs your not getting nothing but cute....

We are suffering from the best summer on record. Basking in the mid to high 70's. Been breaking all time heat records almost every day this week. I am actually wearing short sleeves almost daily. They even had 78 degrees in Barrow (top of the continent) where usually high 50's are the norm.

Sorry, but have to rub this in a little. I do feel everyone else's pain though. The heat waves in the lower 48 are bad.

:D I bet that you feel just awful... :joke::joke::joke:
We'll be thinking about you this January... when your thermometers read somewhere between "Damn Cold", and "Are you KIDDING me?"

Compared to the rest of the state, our area is pretty "temperate" in the winter. 10 below or so is usually pretty rare, with no more than a week long cold spell. The temp during the "coldest" months can range from 5 to 20 above--most of the time. Now if you want to go North--45 to 60 below can be the norm.

92 here at the moment, I'm not complaining, it beats snow. I do my riding in the AM then I float around in the pool like an old whale in the afternoon. :roflblack::roflblack:

TO HOT!

Yesterday it was 107 on my way home from work and today is not much better. It is a little over an hour ride from home to work in stop and go freeway traffic. Got home and almost passed out from the heat! :opps: Parked the Spyder and took my daughters car with air. Just to hot to ride when it is over 100.

86 is almost warm enough for me... nojoke
My Missus says that I'm happiest when I can be sitting in the water, and cutting up vegetables to make stew! :D
90+ always feels bestest!
