• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's Going To Be a Different Summer For Me

I finally bit the bullet and decided it's time to do something about my bad hip.

Some of you are aware that I have had to navigate by wheelchair for the last couple years or so. A window of opportunity has opened up at work allowing me to take the required time off.

Just got back from my appointment with the Orthopedic surgeon. A pre-op appointment in about three weeks and then a date will be set for my hip joint replacement surgery. Early May will be the time window.

Downside: Will try to get in a few miles in on :spyder2: before the surgery. Don't know how long I will be off :ani29: due to leg and hip joint movement restrictions.

Upside: I should be able to get my mobility and quality of life back assuming that all goes well.

Thanks for listening. PM's welcomed if you have something medical to say.

The hard part for me, the long and scary wait now that the wheels are in motion.

Hey hey...you been riding on 4 behind our back

You're going to be so glad you did it, and that it is behind you. Once it is.

Hang tuff :doorag:

I had an ankle replaced and the moment I awoke from surgery, I knew I had made the right decision. The pain was gone.

You won't regret having it done. You will regret having waited so long before doing it!

Good luck.
