• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. It's December 15th....where is your spyder..??

Hooked-up to the battery tender in the barn. Took it for a 40 mile ride yesterday in low 50's temps. As long as there is no snow or ice, I plan on riding at least once a week. Christmas Day looks promising 🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅

In The Garage

It warmed up to 41° this morning so I rode Hi-Yo Silver to work while Salsa stayed in the garage. After removing some of the lowering that had been done that caused the bike to bottom out at the driveway curb I wanted to make sure it now cleared and it did. Maybe Wednesday I will take Salsa, not supposed to rain.

My spyder is sitting in the garage, resting from the 165 mile loop that I did on Saturday. Suppose to rain tomorrow, but I should be able to ride Wednesday. It should be in the upper 50's.

Tucked away in the heated garage, just waiting and waiting and waiting even more, for the snow to stop falling and the weather to change. Another 5 months to go if we are lucky.:banghead:

Come on down..!!

Ok Chup rubbing it in on us northeners again. Was thinking retiring to San Diego but the chargers need to improve. But they are better then the jets. But again who isn't :roflblack:

Don't sit around watching sports when I can ryde...and ryde you can all year long all day long...you have it all here just hours away..vegas, hollywood, LA. Frisco etc..choices choices..!!

Resting in it's heated garage with stabilizer in the tank and the battery tender hooked up awaiting another round of farkles. Russell Day Long heated seat with backrest, KOTT grills, Missing belt gard, and LED lights around the driver floorboards.
Then waiting for spring.

Mobey that black 2014 is sharp!! I just rode mine on a short ride bout 25 miles and returned to the shed hooked up to the battery tender. Will try to get another ride in before Christmas..

Resting after yesterdays ride with wife. I have ridden at least ond in every month for years, but the years are catching up. The last 15 years, the local Gold Wing club has ridden on News years or as close to as possible with no ice/snow. the tempetures have been prettylow sometimes, but the faces of the cages/lead sleds driver will keep you warm
Be Safe and Merry Christmas

Oooooh.... how do you like the Honda? That's one of the bikes I'm considering for my next two-wheeler.

As for my Spyder, just got it back this weekend from two weeks (grrr) in the shop. At 17,300 miles on the ODO, in addition to oil change, tire rotation, routine check ups, I FINALLY bit the bullet and paid for the valve check. As usual, valves were all in spec, no problems, but $900 in parts and labor for that "peace mind"... riiiight.

However, now I've got it back, and riding every chance I get. I'm settling into a nice routine now-- for fun, over 45 degrees and no rain, I try to ride the Ninja; under 45, bad weather, or when commuting, I take the Spyder.

That said, I got the feeling the Spyder is getting jealous at me taking out the bike all the time. I'm thinking Spyder wants a West Virginia twisties trip the next dry day... :ohyea:

Where's my Spyder?

It's in the parking lot here at work, snug under it's cover and waiting for a 45 min trip to my home. I live 5 mins away. I take the scenic route.;)
