• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's December 15th....where is your spyder..??

I know that this is off the subject, in Vermont we got 16 inches of heavy wet snow. I am glad those are not spyders under that snow. Deanna

Snug as a Spyder

Since the town put an awful lot of sand and salt down for almost nothing my Spyder is resting comfortably in a 55 degree heated garage next to the HD both with battery tenders on, fuel stabilized and a box or two of LEDS and bumpskid nearby for the winter activities on the creature.

Mine's in the garage next to the CTS-V Coupe. When we get the first snow, they both go on tenders, but for now, taking each out when I can. The ST-L is getting new black blades for Christmas, off with the chrome!

I like the NC700 but it is a different kind of bike. A good commuter and maybe some easy off-roading.

There is a good forum over at http://nc700-forum.com/forum/cmps_index.php and you will find many of your questions answered there. If you are up around Glen Burnie you are welcome to see mine.

Charles

Thanks for the impressions. Do you have a manual or the semi-auto? I've heard it's very sedate bike, not one likely to get your blood racing, but like you said, a good commuter with some flexibilty.

watching me!

When my dog expects a walk and hasn't gotten one, she sits in front of me and stares. It's quite unnerving.

Every time I open the door between the house and the garage, Ollie is staring at me. IMG_1275.jpg

Mine is in the carport behind the car, right where I left it after my 52 mile rYde to the Post Office and back... yeah, the one that's just over 7 miles away. The Fahrenheit numbers topped out at 78 today, with clouds and very little wind. Yay!

I do not have, and hopefully should never need, a battery tender.

You probably won't if mine is anything to go by. I don't have a battery tender either and have never needed one. The longest Ollie has ever sat without being ridden was 2 weeks, or I guess 3 when we went on vacation.
