• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is this true....

what they say about a battery tender; I think their use of battery tender is as a generic name. It came from this site:

http://www.performancehd.com/service.asp

It's just past the price list. I've just purchased a battery tender junior with 4 stages and planned on leaving the battery in the bike with the battery tender connected until next spring; it's connected through a powerlet outlet. Or, should I just connect it periodically?

I will be on my 6th year with my H-D battery in My Roadglide and I trickle full time from November to April but I can't be to upset if it doesn't test out next season thats a good run for a bike battery.Butt it could be winter and we still go for rides a couple of times a month as long as roads are halfway decent so I guess it realey wasn't on a constant trickle

Deltran battery...

tender is one of the best to use. It is designed to stay on the battery and not over heat the plates or boil out the electrolyte.

I started with a single station several years ago. Now I have a 4 station and still have the single station that I started with. These are fine units that last.:2thumbs:/Ken

I bought a cheapy duracell battery minder - instructions recommend disconnecting once every 2 weeks for a day.

I previously had a battery tender, lasted four years, left it plugged in throughout winter. I also would plug it into my motorcycle after every ride. Battery still going strong after 5 years.
