• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is this OEM?

2E763B0F-218C-439B-A757-CA7EB00D55D4.jpgI came across this on EBAY and I’m wondering if this is an OEM stereo amp that will boost and or improve the sound or is it the OEM optional stereo that’s offered with RT/RTS? HELP!

Last I checked " N-Touch " were NOT the radio supplier for BRP …… To the best of my knowledge BRP doesn't put Amps in any Spyder ….. good luck …. Mike :ohyea:...……..PS my radio was labeled...... RSI

Sorry guys. N-Touch is the brand name Radio Sound uses for the radios they make for motorcycles, including the Spyder. Everything I find indicates this is in fact an OEM radio. What I can't figure out is if it was made for European models, or was a short lived US product, but I think European. European radios operate on different frequencies than US. A part # search on Bike Bandit redirects to a different part # for 2014 RT, which makes sense.

Well good thing is because it's going through EBay there is some buyer protection available if it is miss labeled/ advertised. Ask the seller to provide some verification some how. Good luck.

I can say it looks like the unit on my STL however I did not remover it enough to see the lable, just sorta viewed it while installing Smooth Spyder back rest.

:yikes: You mean that Victory also used them? :gaah:
No wonder they went out of business... :joke:
From the wayback machine internet archives for Jan 2016
Radio Sound has over 20 years of experience in the powersports industry. Our customers include Harley-Davidson, Polaris/Victory, Arctic Cat, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda, and Bombardier/Can-Am.

Compared to the sound system on my Triumph Trophy the Spyder system SUCKS. I can hear the radio on Tropy even at 80 mph, automatic sound level.

Hey Rocky Mountain rider, just wondering if you know of any source of publications for riding in the Rocky Mountains. there are 3 couples from our NISR (Nebraska Iowa Spyder Ryders) group coming to Colorado in June to ride. we are renting a home in Granby. tks

Are you ryding or trailering your bikes? If ryding then go thru Loveland, Colorado then up and over Rock Mountain Park. US 34 goes thru Loveland and into Granby. It is a wonderful ryde.
