• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there a way to remove a Ryker's handlebar braket/lock screw?

Hello, all. I now have a big issue. For a few weeks now, my handlebars have been sliding up and down while I drive. I knew to tighten the screw with a flathead counterclockwise, but that didn't help this time, so I attempted to remove the clamp and screw. The screw won't screw out. It wiggles up and down but it's locked in. It's kind of stripped now and seems impossible to put the clamp back on. I have no room/leverage to put the clamp back on because the screw seems short. Is there a way to remove the screw or remove part from the sliding bracket?

EDIT: After taking a closer look at it, I need to remove the bracket in order to remove the screw. The screw is pretty stripped. The problem is, how do I remove the bracket? I unscrewed the 4 screws, detached the handlebars, removed the center screw on the bracket, but the bracket doesn't slide/come off?!

Made any progress? After a quick peek at my bike I'm thinking the bracket may be part of the frame. Can you post a picture for us?

More Information on Steering Cluster

Here's a blown-up view of a 2019 Ryker from https://www.canamseadooskidooparts.com/ Rykers are listed under Roadsters. You most likely will have to drill out #435 and 305. The steering column #120 does come out, but you may have to detach the cluster #130 first. You may be able to feed #305 in after twisting #120 over to one side. Make sure #120 is very loose first. You will have to order #435 & #305 parts. Go by your parts list for your year Ryker. When reattaching, I believe the stem bolt #702 has a torque spec of 18 lb/ft. I hope this info steers you in the right direction!
