Is there a way to Disable the rear cargo open warning light?

I removed my rear cargo storage to install a brake light modulator. I got it back together and the brake lights work. However, my rear cargo open light will not turn off. The trunk is latched and secure. I manipulated the switch to see if the warning light would turn off. No luck. Is there a way to completely disable that warning light altogether?

Mine did same thing, I unplugged the connector and plugged back in and it work fine, Why I don't know
