• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there a switch to use in the 2020+ blank spot to use as a Home Link switch for opening Garage doors?

Is there a switch to use in the blank spot on the 2020 and newer Spyder RT Limited to be able to use for a 2 button "Home Link" for opening garage doors? (I need it for opening 2 different garage doors) Thanks.

I am using that hole for a switch that controls my chin light bar. I run a mini remote velcroed into the inside of the glove box for the garage door.

CopperSpyder, I am looking for a rocker switch that goes in the empty spot on the tank area. (Where the blank switch is in the 1st picture on your attachment to lamonster garage)

Did you ever find a source for a rocker switch? I would like an OEM looking switch for added lights.

Caveat: My bike is a 2019 RTL. I do not know if 2020+ changed switch hole size!

This body will work, and is supposedly the OEM mfr: https://rockerswitchpros.com/product/v2d1-ak0b/ You may need the double pole, etc. versions though. And the amber is pretty close match to the OEM amber, at least on my 2019.

These actuators have the matching bump style faces: https://rockerswitchpros.com/switch-actuators/

I used something similar for my custom LED underglow, and am very happy.

On this thread: https://spyderlovers.com/threads/an...y-switches-that-look-like-oem-22-rt-l.152108/ somebody provided a link to a switch on Amazon that should fit. The switches are made by Carling Technologies and come in various configurations (SPDT, on/off/on, etc.). On the Carling Technologies website you should be able to figure out the part number for the configuration you want, and then buy one (or some) from Digi-Key or another electronics distributor.

This information should be on a sticky somewhere.

Yep, same switches as what I posted above. (RockerSwitchPros is one of the sites that sells the Carling switches.)
