• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is the F3-T's Glove box USB fused? Can a dash-cam be connected?

Just wondering if the F3 T glove box USB is fused. Don't want to fry a cell.
And can a 5V dash cam be connected to it. I know it won't work with a Garmin.
Thank you.

Well, in my case it runs my iPod OK. A typical USB interface should be able to supply 500mA or 0.5 amp. It should be capable of running a typical dashcam with no problems.

As far as I can see on the F3T wiring diagram, there is no fuse on the USB connector. There is a 15A fuse on the radio which also feeds the USB circuitry so if the radio is working, there should also be power to the USB.
