• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Crazy weather--heck yes! My last time on nanner was Thursday the 13th. Wait and see mode for the weekend. Low 20's and black ice on my country road. Did not venture out because of the black ice.

Today, low 30's, but still the black ice on the road, ramps, and shady spots. There is a lot of that, as the sun does not rise much above the 10:00 position in the sky. That is lower than a lot of the mountains. We are down to just less than 7 hours of daylight, not much heating, and no melting in the shade. My road is on the wrong side of the mountains. It is looking like I am done riding for the season. Going to "Stabilize" in a couple days or so.

This year, I got an extra month of riding in compared to the last three seasons. Last riding days in the previous years were between 10/5 and 10/9.

:congrats: on your extended Season! :2thumbs:
I would have loved an extra Month on mine. The road salt says otherwise! :banghead:

I was reading that there might be as much as two to three feet of snow by thanksgiving on the hill! is it so?? wanted to get a little more deer hunting in, but that doesn't sound like fun anymore!!

That's what there saying. Possibly 2 feet in Watertown by Wednesday:yikes:

Like the snow to hunt myself, but there's limitations when it's not fun anymore

I have mine covered in the garage as we got 4 inches of snow today. I live in Ohio. I put on close to 16000 miles this year and still want more.

Anyone see the pictures from Buffalo. Thruway closed guy standing with snow up to his waist:yikes:

Way to early for that:gaah:

31 degrees today. If one of my bathrooms had not sprung a leak, I would have ridden long and hard today. Beautiful blue sky, bright sun. Great riding weather. Wish I had been out today.

Heard the weather forecast saying in the 60's this Monday (in the NYC area.) And I have the whole week off.

If true, you know what I'm doing. :ohyea:

Trb--
